Nice!! I especially like your calico oranda, ranchu, and your sakura ryukin. Good to see that the hobby is alive and well in Guatemala! I suggest upgrading your filter significantly though...

Mexico aside, I think you are the only member from Central America.Welcome to RG.
I suppose good quality goldfish are hard to come by in Central America too,but then again,I am sure you folks at the other end of the world love your pets just as well. Fishes look underfed; try to feed more and pump them up. |

Wow Guatemala home of exotic chiclids rather than goldfish .Your goldies must have travelled half the world and more to get to where they are.Must be pretty rare to see any household having goldfish as pets in your country.Do keep them well .

Thanks for your comment, what filter do you recommend? Wow Guatemala home of exotic chiclids rather than goldfish .Your goldies must have travelled half the world and more to get to where they are.Must be pretty rare to see any household having goldfish as pets in your country.Do keep them well . Its very difficult to get good quality goldfish in my country, specially oranda and ranchu, lionhead. The goldfish I see here, hmmm I see them like they are from another world lol! I'm very impressed, the ranchu I have is the only calico ranchu I've ever seen in my country, I paid 40 $ for it, and it was only like 3 inch long! Mexico aside, I think you are the only member from Central America.Welcome to RG. I suppose good quality goldfish are hard to come by in Central America too,but then again,I am sure you folks at the other end of the world love your pets just as well. Fishes look underfed; try to feed more and pump them up. Thats correct, I visit 3 different pet stores constantly to find good quality goldfish, when I find good quality or rare goldfish, most of the times they're sick , I think this is normal because they have to travel thousands of miles! I've been feeding my goldfish with hikari food for like 5 months now, they coloration is better, they got bigger also hehehe, I feed them 2 times a day. Any recommendation to pump them up? Thanks! BTW I didn't know I had a sakura ryukin, thanks for this |
