Tis not often we see a fish of exceptional quality
Far too often we are swarmed with sheer quantity
A ryukin of majestic pose is a rare find
This one I show is one of its kind
Dorsal erect to get your attention
Rest of fins, balance, equal not to mention
There exist only one possible flaw
A single anal that may break competition law
Colours are vivid and sharply demarcated
Body 's not overfat nor seem emaciated
The following pics will show its strength
5 inch and no more is perhaps its length

This one shows its marvellous scalation

This one shows equal balance

Fwah...........a beauty indeed.
But somehow dont look too balanced when viewed from the side (esp 2nd pic).

Keeping in your new green FGT ? I would suggest your koi pond though...... , more depth.biggrin.gif

Hi Doc,

In my opinion, this one is very good, almost perfect. High hump with a nice curve, round body, tiny head, deep red and almost symmetrical pattern. Singel anal fin is still acceptable.

This one must go for a competition ;-)

Congrats!

Though the grass may seem greener at this end
Still the hunt can be frustrating ,not to mention the price you are willing to spend
It is not my intention here to poison all
Neither my purpose to drive most up the wall
Teaching can be a painful lesson
Learning can thus be a bitter medicine
Goldfish keeping is a continual education to share
It is just not simple feeding nor frivolous care
It takes many years to come this far
And just as many to overcome failures, disappointments with unlimited battled scars
The internet, these forums have opened to many, many doors
Not just for the uninitiated but the experienced who desire to learn more......

Your Ryukin is really amazing, here in the U.S. it is next to impossible to find anything
even close to a fish like yours.

What are your thoughts on breeding your fish?
