This is not a fading black ranchu. There is a type of ranchu I seldom see in Singapore. Those tri-coloured ranchu with black, red and white.

Just found out that this type of ranchu is called "APACHE Ranchu". The better breed are those with black topping and full black couloured fins. The remaining colour of the body is to be in ORANGE. If the remaining colours are in red and white (The "tri-coloured" I mentioned initially), then most probably they are bred from Hong Kong. So you have gotten yourself a gem.
