From the picture, it looks like you have a 3' tank. It's best to do a L x W x H calculation to get the volume of water in Litres. The rule of thumb is for one goldfish to have at least 30l all to itself, 50l preferably. For serious goldfish hobbyist, even more volume is usually allocated. My own stocking density allows 50-60l per fish...even then the bioload is quite high and I intend to reduce it soon.

Granted, you have adequate filtration (assuming your cannister filters are large enough), you have to contend with very frequent and large water changes or your nitrate levels will be unacceptably high. Also there is the problem of secreted hormone concentration that prevent your fish from attaining maximum growth.

Good luck!

Well, fish doesn't look sick. biggrin.gif

The tri colour ryukin and ranchu looks good; the red/white ryukin not as good as tail is not erect.

of cos i knew the volume of the water in my tank and also the rule of thumb for keeping how many pieces in the tank and it's only 3 pieces ( 170 litres ) for an ideal keeping lol tongue.gif.
