the pics too small to comment. i can see its sakura ryukin. but not to my lpiece of favor.....no hump. its a normal grade sakura ryukin. blush.gif

I think the hump is pretty good for a sakura. They are never like the hump in a metallic ryukin.

Personally I try not to purchase small ryukin in the hope of growing it to be large impressive specimen.Most will end up as runts and stunted. hmm.gif

Take this great example to learn

altang20 I think your fish is outstanding, it's dorsal looks nice and even, it has a nice round shape
and that hump SHOULD improve with time.
In the U.S. it's very hard to find a fish as nice as yours.
Good luck with your Ryukin and keep posting pictures to keep us updated.
