Goldfish Wheat-germ Mini Pellets Options

I am feeding my calico fantail and ryukin goldfishs hikari goldfish wheat-germ floating mini pellets(the one with the red white ryukin on the the package). Does any one have any experience with this product? It claims to have high assimilation/digestibility, but will it cause any flotation or bladder problems?

I use to combine Hikari wheat germ pellets with any other kind of Hikari pellets. For avoiding the floating issue, I use a syringe to make negative pressure and convert them to sinking pellets. The method is:

1. Put some floating pellets on the syringe (without needle and inner part)
2. Half fill it with aquarium water and only place the inner part atop the syringe body
3. Put the syringe up and push the inner part until there is no air in the interior.
4. Put fingertip on the needle outlet and gently pull the syringe inner part.

The floating pellets have become sinkable pellets.

At step 4., when you cover the needle outlet with your fingertip, can't pull out the inner part already right?

This is a neat little trick and it works! I love it. Not too sure if you are the one that posted this before in this or other forums, but thanks anyway.
