Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and thought I'll introduce myself and say hi. My name is John and I'm 16. I have always been fascinated by all sorts of creatures great and small ever since I've been a little crawling boy. My early life was pretty much involved with invertebrates hence the avatar name and nick-name 'bugman'
In the past few years, I have gotten very much interested in the aquarium hobby and have bred and kept many fish/crayfish. You may have seen me in various forums under the name 'bugman2494'' or ''netty_3164''. I don't think I'm allowed to post what forums in this topic. They ones i use most is an Australian planted tank forum and the other one is a fantastic crayfish forum which I help moderate.

Anyways enough of myself and more about goldfish! Through my short but crazy 16 years of life, I have kept many goldfishes. My first goldfish's were pond comets which happily bred themselves. The first time I bred goldfish myself was 2 years ago which was done with a comet x oranda with a common goldfish. Anyways, yesterday I bought myself my first 'decent quality' goldfish (i think) I bought a gold oranda which was told by my lfs was imported from China.
Pictures will be posted up soon in another topic. Hope to hear your feedback or criticism on my fish. Very interested in to see how you guys grade my fish according to show quality. ;)

If others are also interested in pictures of my current 'watery pets' I shall post some pictures up.

I have joined this forum in order to gain more knowledge about goldfish and their care. I look forward in getting to know you guys and hope to share my own experiences/knowledge to you guys. :Wave
