About your pic. There were actually four others (of similar pose) but they are a blur. Seeing you took one clear and sharp pic as seen above, it's obvious your camera has a macro function but you didn't use it for the other pics. Read up the following thread about Macro Photography.

This ranchu has an impressively wide skull, unless the position of the eyes is an illusion because they are protruding? How about a side-view pic, or a side-view close-up of its head please?
The pics are blur so I can't really comment on its tails except they look kinda small. ![]() The scales are neat but it looks like the red colour is fading. Overall an excellent ranchu! ![]() PS. Get a deeper basin; prolong exposure of part of its back to air may not be good. ![]() |

Certainly not fading, infact have improve tremendously thanks to green water. |
