Here are my 2...

Im still new with pearlscales so I picked the ones that look best from the top. One with almost no crown but very round and one with big crown and still round.

$30 sounds cheap, both look good and doing well...nice piece!

Did you source them from Tao? remember he had some Pearlscales.

I got it from a local LFS. According to the owner, it was already in the shop for about 3 days before I saw them and I was the first to pick.... Strangely, there's no fan here dntknw.gif

Maybe people still don't know that it is a new breed, maybe they think the protruding eyes are defects. Well, needs some time for new breed to be accepted I think.

After keeping some XX months this guy seems to assume monarchy status and takes the throne as a self declared SULTAN. biggrin.gif

A typical Sultan of the past has that regal "onion head"bearing(sorry no hard feelings,I hope)looking like this:

IPB Image

Presenting The Caliph of my keeping,THE CROWN PRINCE OF THE GOLDFISH WORLD ,ITS BODY ADORNED WITH THE MOST PRECIOUS JEWELS OF PEARLS.... shiok.gif

IPB Image

The ranchu is highly regarded and accepted as the king of the goldfish. However the humble crownpearl with its natural endowed crown and body of pearls has never reach that status of the highest esteem wacko.gif

IPB Image

Maybe after viewing this,a couple of you may have second thoughts and start worshipping such a neglected breed
